10.6.5 mbp 13" + 500gb Momentus XT Kernel Panic

Ran the disk permissions check & disk verify prior & after install.

but as soon as i boot 10.6.5 the machine panics

i can restore back to either 10.6.3 or 10.6.4 updates and everything is fine.

look like an efi error on boot to me is there anyhting i can reset/change?
