does anyone have any clues when this suppose to come out the public i know i have seen the developers get several beta's and the last to seem to be bug fixes for last one for the same things that came out so wonder if we are close

As far as I'm aware of, Apple hasn't given any sort of timeframe on when the update will go public. I guess Apple will release it when they feel it's ready.

for all there money they should have a group on the ios software and a group for osx so they dont have bottle neck

Are you actually having problems, or are you just looking for an update to make you feel good?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

I have a strong feeling that when iOS 4.2 is released that's when mac osx will release there update for all computers! The reason I see this happening is because the last seed to developers stated that it had stuff in it for 4.2. I could be wrong but ya never know

10.6.4 is stable so no need to rush. I agree with the above comment that there will be a concurrent release with ios 4.2 due to AirPrint and perhaps other things in ios.

I wouldn't call 10.6.4 "stable." As discussed in the Apple discussion forum, many of us with 8,1 iMacs are suffering from a problem starting with the 10.6.3 update: random and frequent system freezes. It would be nice if Apple would address this as I really don't relish the idea of running 10.6.2 until this iMac is replaced.
