After switching out my original hard drive with a 500gb Western Digital I restored from my Time Machine Backup. Not all of the programs I have are compatible with 10.6.3 though since I was running 10.6.6 before the swap (the OS version that is installed on this drive is 10.6.3). I ran software update and have run into a problem with every single combo update I try to install whether it's from Software Update or Apple's Website. I've tried installing everything from 10.6.4 to 10.6.6. Here are the console messages I'm getting.

1/26/11 7:54:39 PM Installer[2935] <ZeroSliderSplitView: 0x1003eb800>: the delegate <TargetSelectPage: 0x1003f8c60> was sent -splitView:resizeSubviewsWithOldSize: and left the subview frames in an inconsistent state:
1/26/11 7:54:39 PM Installer[2935] Split view bounds: {{0, 0}, {402, 104}}
1/26/11 7:54:39 PM Installer[2935] Subview frame: {{0, 0}, {0, 32}}
1/26/11 7:54:39 PM Installer[2935] Subview frame: {{0, 0}, {402, 104}}
1/26/11 7:54:39 PM Installer[2935] The outer edges of the subview frames are supposed to line up with the split view's bounds' edges. NSSplitView is working around the problem, perhaps at the cost of more redrawing. (This message is only logged once per NSSplitView.)
1/26/11 7:54:50 PM Installer[2935] PackageKit: Missing bundle path, skipping: <bundle id="com.apple.NetworkUtility"></bundle>
1/26/11 7:55:36 PM Installer[2935] The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.

I've tried repairing permissions verifying the startup disc and all of the typical stuff. I can't seem to find com.apple.NetworkUtility though. I think the Subview error may be the major problem here, however.

That worked! I had used that fix for other installation failures but didn't think it would be applicable because of the error the console was reporting. Thank you very much!!
