So, I am running 10.6.8 with Paragon NTFS. I bought a 3tb seagate backup plus external to store media on to use with my Western Digital TV. About 30 seconds after I plug this POS into my macbook pro, I get a kernel panic. I brought it into work and plugged it into my work MBP which has no NTFS software on it and it works fine. I really don't want to remove Paragon from my personal MBP. Does anyone have a work around for this or know how to FULLY wipe the drive to remove their garbage proprietary drivers? Or is this some hardware issue built into the controller? I have formatted it in FAT32 and OS X Journaled and still get the same issue.
