This has been an issue that I've noticed multiple times and have just gotten around to addressing here. When I send a message with an attachment, say a photo, Mail sends it fine and dandy. When I move the original attachment to the Trash Bin and try to empty it, Trash says that the file is in used (by Mail, of course) and that is preventing the trash from emptying. In order to do this, I must exit Mail. Is there a way around exiting Mail to empty my Trash, or must I deal with this all the time? Thanks.
