[10.6] Modifier keys stuck when switching spaces

Hello all,

I sometimes have a really annoying problem with Snow Leopard. When switching spaces via ctrl + numbers, the ctrl key gets stuck and the spaces-image won't disappear (see attachment). I mostly have to log out and in again to fix it.

I am using 10.6.8 & the Apple Wireless Keyboard. Somebody know the reason for that?

Thanks for any hints.
