Mine is as good as ever! I tried the instant on and I still think its fast, but I thought it was fast before...

Should have third option "I wasn't having any problems, but I applied the patch because I like big numbers."

Maybe it helps that I didn't really care, but my "instant on" has gone from @ 5 secs to about 1. FWIW.

Actually on my 2010 MBA I didn't have an issue with instant on UNTIL now. :(

So far the early word on the Apple Support Forums is that 10.7.1 doesn't fix the wake-from-sleep issue. For me, it's only when it wakes from deep sleep (it takes about 10 seconds and took about half that in Snow Leopard on my 2010). Waking from normal sleep (if it's plugged in, for instance) is pretty quick.

I assume 10.7.2 will be coming out whenever iCloud is announced. Hopefully they will put out some more bug fixes.

Not really. My back still hurts when I stand for more than an hour.

LOL, you gotta love generic poll titles...

On another note, I noticed the "instant on" feature that was never announced before but has been available since 2007 MBP is now "finally functioning" :D

Unfortunately, not. I was kind of disappointed more fixes were not included in this release.

There's still no freakin' instant-on, and I have to wait longer than my 4+ year old iMac does to wake from sleep. And that's not an exagerration.

Heard that one of the things causing instant-on not to work is WiFi related but... still no instant-on. When I open the lid, instant-sucks.

That last part made me laugh, lol.

The 2011 Air has no instant-on. It has instant-sucks.

On a side note, I've seen people saying their 2010 Airs lost instant-on with Lion but now with 10.7.1 they have it back...

What I've noticed is that if it is not in "deep sleep" (i.e. the lid has been closed for less than 70 minutes and/or it is plugged in), it does wake up in a second or two, and Wi-Fi is connected almost immediately. That is better than my 2010 MacBook Air was. It woke up in the same amount of time, but took longer to connect to Wi-Fi.

However, deep sleep is another story. The 2010 woke up in about 5 seconds, while the 2011 takes about 10 seconds to do the same.
