Since updating to 10.7.2, "localhost" no longer seems to refer to "127.0.0.1". I'm developing RoR, and post-update my server can no longer be referenced by "localhost". However, if i use 127.0.0.1 in its place, it works. That said, it will cause some issues with the configuration for databases and things running on my development machine.
Has anyone else experienced this problem, or have any suggestions on where to look for help? I've seen the changes to the hosts file in 10.7 and I have no issues with that. I've tried overwriting popular websites to have local IPs, and to give new names to popular website IPs, and neither seem to take in the hosts file.
