Hi,

I am looking for a little guidance in how to do a fresh install of 10.7.4 on to my 2007 white MB.

Last year I used superduper to clone the original 120GB Hdd onto a 750 GB one which has worked well for me but now I have an opti bay to put a 256 GB SSD and also a 1TB HDD for all my data. I have moved all my data from the 750 GB so that if I clone it to the 256 GB it will fit nicely with 140+ GB free.

I cloned the 750Gb onto the SSD and swapped them over but it takes ages to start up (the HDD did too, I suspect a soon to fail drive, thus the need to replace it) and the beach ball appears far too often. I did have a short spell with an SSD in the machine last year and it absolutely flew, so I'm a bit puzzled why this, faster one doesn't do the same.

I have all the original discs but think I downloaded the 10.7 upgrade as no discs seemed to be available.

So can anyone advise me how to perform a clean install of 10.7 please?

Thanks in advance
LC
