Anyone else having this problem?
Since updating to 10.8.5 on both of my Macs, I've had 2 different problems:
On the Mac Mini, the entire external I use for iTunes has been grayed out and renamed to some bizarre letter/number scheme with 'Spotlight' on the end. I can still use iTunes, and reveal iTunes files through Reveal in Finder, but that's about the only way to do it.
On the Mac Pro, one of my externals has selected certain folders to make totally inaccessible (grayed-out and dated to January 24, 1984). These happen to be significant project folders for film projects I had done in the past, although because one is filled with DVD drop zone data and another with footage I can't see any correlation between the two, except there are 3-4 folders doing this. Grayed-out, can't click on them.
Anyone else having these issue or know how to fix them? I'm guessing the Mac OS update tripped something in terms of making folders/archives hidden but that may not be the entire story.
Thanks.
