Hi all,

Strange quirk encountered when I upgraded my Mini home server to 10.9.1 using the downloadable installer (delta).

When I downloaded the update package, I moved the image to my Raid array that I store my software on. I ran the update from there; mounting the image and running the package installer.

After I restarted, it seems to have created a Library and Applications folder on the Raid array, which is in no way the running OSX install (or any OSX install, for that matter). There's nothing in the Library or Applications folders; I just thought it was odd.

POSSIBLE RELATED PROBLEM. After I upgraded to 10.9.1, I downloaded the complete installer file using Mac App Store to create a boot disk (I like to have an image of one on standby). There is an older version of the installer on the Raid array, and the App Store seems to have gone and found that one; deleting good fresh copy of 10.9.1 it just downloaded. I can see this because in the logs on the version that it opened, it's using the repository on the array (in a deep folder software>mac software>apple...so it can't be confused about a similar directory structure.

I'm really confused here...any thoughts?

Everything works fine, I guess...more of just an observation.
