Hi everyone,

For those of you who are on beta, could you comment on weather the random beachballing has been fixed? Preferably if you are using a cMBP with a SSD.

Also has resizing the finder sidebar also been fixed? That was one of the reasons I could not update.

Thanks.

The problem with beachballing is fixed from a couple of previous betas

Thanks, do you know if you can now resize the finder sidebar (the one with applications, desktop, disk) horizontally? I know you couldn't do it in 10.9.1

Works fine here on 10.9.1 though . . .

I have had 10.9.2 installed for about 30 minutes (applied the combo), and so far, no beachballs. Gotta wait a bit, though, and see how it goes once the system settles down. I'll give it a couple days to be sure, then report back.

You mean like this? Or something else?

Updating to 10.9.2 seems to have fixed the 1-2 second beach balling for me so far. So hopefully it has been fixed with this update.

The resizing finder sidebar in a dialog feature was present in 10.8.5. I have no idea why they removed this feature in Mavericks. This is one of the reasons I'm not willing to upgrade.
