On my 13" 2009 8GB 240GB SSD mbp , I've noticed that Safari 7.1 runs noticeably faster on 10.9.5.

Anyone else noticing a difference? (just wondering if it's my imagination)

Maybe I will put off buying a new 15" rmbp for a bit more - good job, Apple!

hahaha - just kidding...

Yeah. Scrolling is smoother and loading pages are faster on my MacBook Air as well.
I think it's using the same back-end codebase as Safari 8.

Oddly, the only site that doesn't seem top lay well is Apple's.

The fancy animations and stuff sometimes don't play.

Why would Apple be concentrating on improving Safari 7 (besides bug fixes, ofc) when Safari 8 is in works? #justwondering

Not just Safari ....

My LAN is also much faster now after the 10.9.5 update, copying files on the local network takes much less time than before the update. I do not have any benchmarks, but the subjective feeling is about 30-40% faster.
:eek::cool::eek:
