Hi everyone,
I hope that you had a great Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year.
So, earlier today I started to backup all of our family's pictures from the last month or so. Did the digital cameras fine.
However, I have plugged in 3 different iPhones (a 5, a 5S and a 6S Plus - all running ios10.2) in to my MacPro 2008 and they are all recognised by Image Capture (in as much as they appear in the left-hand Devices column) but no pictures or videos are displayed for me to select and download. I last had this working around the 2nd December this year as that is the most up-to-date iPhone photo I have on my machine.
I did wonder if it was something to do with ios 10.2 so I plugged the iPhone 5 in to my trusty old MacBook Pro 2006 running 10.6.8 and bam - all the pictures and videos came up straight up on the MBP and I can export them off. So I guess that this rules out ios 10.2 as the issue.
I have tried deleting the Image Capture prefs files and also another lightning cable on the MP2008 but this make no difference.
Does anyone have any ideas, tips or worldly insight in to what may be causing this?
Many thanks in advance,
Moley
