10.9.5 Time Machine Crashes?

I updated to 10.9.5 a few days ago, and I just went to access Time Machine, but every time I "enter Time Machine" I get the beach ball and the Finder quits responding.

Anyone else notice this?

Not seeing that one here. Anything in Console log from that exact date/time that would give a clue maybe?

Is the TM disk locally USB attached? Disk Util show it okay?

It's locally attached via USB. Accessing TM would cause Finder to freeze indefinitely. After a restart and a few reconnections it worked. I am going to keep an eye on it because I haven't come across this issue before.

Run Disk Utility on that USB drive and see if something is going on with the hard drive.
