Seriously people, do we need a post about every aspect of your order or how you plan on lining up every morning hoping to ward off the Asians. Seriously. We need to all take a collective breath and relax. The fact of the matter is that you may have to wait a little bit longer and that things to do come up and other things come up to alter those things. But to take to this forum about every quip and gripe is doing absolutely no one any good.

I'm not going to even say get a blog, but to take that iPad money and put a down payment on patience. It will do a mind and body good.

Where did I say stop posting thoughts. I'm all for that.

It's just the real-time twitter-like feed updates I don't care much for. Ultimately, a great deal of those threads could be cut down if people were more patient, understanding, and resourceful.

I joined this forum just this week. I am having a blast reading through the people whining and complaining, then the people who whine and complain about those people only to be chastised by more people.

It's starting to remind me of that movie Alive in here. Or Lord of the Flies.

So, in case anyone wonders what the point of this post is....

Please keep posting your inane stories. And the whiners, please keep whining. Those who got your iPad 2's, please keep rubbing it in and those who want to criticize people and tell them they have a sense of entitlement, please keep doing that too.

Just please don't kill and eat me before my iPad arrives.

I have to admit, I am also a little tired of the "Twitter feeds" every time a new product launches.

"My iPad shipped!"
"My iPad didn't ship!"
"My iPad is in Newark!"
"My iPad isn't in Newark!"
"My iPad is on my porch!"
"I'm opening my iPad!"

... so?
 
It's ironic that the only way you can show by action that you agree with this post is not to post anything at all, but then nobody will ever know you agree. By my posting that I agree I've oxymoronicized myself.

Just like when I watch TV and they have a special report saying that Charlie Sheen is getting too much news coverage.
 
I agree with maxinflixion- as stupid as a lot of those posts are they're pure entertainment. I love hearing people treat iPads like a life necessity that they're now absolutely forced to pay more than retail for due to sneaky rotten Asians. It must be hell down there in NYC, everyone having to fend for themselves in these harsh conditions. Is there even any batteries or water left in stores? Once it's safe to come out from cover and venture to the surface, please find an internet connection update us on how many white 32GB wifi+3Gs are left.

This thread is pretty useless also but i have to say they are almost as anoying os those "+1" replies you se on various threads
