Can you still get 10% off at an Apple Store for recycling an old iPod? Can anyone confirm this? Could the 10% go to the iPhone?

I tried to use my employee discount on the iPhone and Apple Care.

Then it really sunk in when I couldn't get my 12% employee discount on my ATT bill because it was an iPhone plan.
