Before I start my rant. I really love the idea of fring. I use it all the time, but its so buggy its painful. The app store really needs a decent voip client that works. Hopefully icall will come out soon and be decent. Fring should still be a beta app, then I would expect this.
1) Fring constantly disconnects me from skype/sip. It says I am still connected but when I try to go make a call it immediately fails.
2) If I try manually disconnect and then reconnect half the time it says my username and password are incorrect and it wont let me connect until I restart the phone.
3)No way of saying username or password info. If you want to change to a different account or need to reconnect to fix the problem above you have to renter everything all over again.
4) No way of automatically adding a country code to your iphone imported address book. You have to create another fring contact that contains the country code for each contact.
5) Randomly disconnects in the middle of a call when I have full wifi reception.
6) The call quality while pretty good sometimes goes to crap for no apparent reason and gets really staticieeeeee . (I have a superfast fiber connection attached to and Airport Extreme)
7) Voice is sometimes lost in one direction or both.
8) It call the wrong people. (I am dialing from my address book)
9) Calls ring indefinitely and never go to voice mail or get picked up, even if the person has voice mail.
