does this seem right for my system? i notice it also says "power book" in the details instead of ibook... i have it set to highest performance in the energy saver settings.

Yep that is normal. Turn of the HD test and you will see a nice bump. I got 99.93 with my 12" pbook 1 Ghz with HD test. Without the HD test it got 113.33.
