I have a 100 gb harddrive on my mbp and according to my computer, I only have 67 gigs left. I know the drives capacity is 93.16 gb, but how on earth could I have used 26 gigs already? I have no pictures and have a total of 6 gigs of music. the only additional programs I have downloaded are adium, firefox, two small widgets, and office. I dont have that many documents either since I just got the computer. It just doesnt add up to me

OS X takes up a good amount of space...GarageBand is one of the real killers (at least 3 GB).

Edit: WhatSize is a good program for seeing folder sizes quickly. For example, I've got at least 5 GB of GarageBand support files, Apple Loops for GarageBand, and printer drivers.
