Is this an iTunes gift card? If so, yes you can use it to purchase all of those things that are available for purchase/download through iTunes. Just be sure to use the same AppleID when you set up your iPhone when you get it.

You can use it for anything in the iTunes store, so apps, music, tv, etc.
