I know that people are quick to claim that any sale on an Apple device means "clearing out old stock" for new models. Nearly all of those times, that isn't the case. But $100 off this time clearly is.
Anyone who has been interested in the Mini 5 but on the fence, if you're "ok" with the current form-factor and won't succumb to FOMO when the Mini 6 is released, this is a "must buy", IMO.
The 256GB Mini 5 is also $100 off ($449 on sale). That's still a great discount, and it is a beastly little tablet that offers some unique options that aren't available for newer models.
