Anyone who bought an iPad Air 128 GB for $700 last month thinking iPad Air 2 128 GB would be $800 got a bad deal. Retailers probably knew iPad Air 2 128 GB would be $700 and ripped us off.

Check out the Best Buy thread, people are buying the air 2 128 GB models for under $600 with trade ins and coupons.

So if you spent more than that on an air 1 last month, I'd say you should've waited.

Anyone buying an iPad 3 in March of 2012 found out they got a bad deal in October of 2012, I was one of them.

Me too. That was a kick in the soft stuff. Buying the iPad Air last month wasn't the same type of thing. Never buy at the end of a cycle as a rule.

yeah but a lot of people during debates says

go get it now!
if you wanted it back then, or if you didnt get yourself informed, what do you want to be sad about

about rushing, about not getting informed properly

instead of getting sad-angry with apple or shop owners, be sad-angry with yourself ('who' decides to buy 'when')

Another way to look at it, think of all the people that bought quad i7 mac minis over the past two years, those people scored big time as the new minis are actually a downgrade in performance.
