Last night I charged my iPhone 4 to 100% and took it off the charger around 12am. I closed background apps, turned off wifi and went to sleep. Woke up around 8am and battery was at 70%. I'm running 4.2.8 on Verizon iPhone. Should I worry about this? Would it be worth taking in to the store?

What's your usage duration from 100% - 70%?
Settings > General > Usage > "Time Since Full Charge" section. Usage and standby. The Apple store will most likely check that and do the math to see if your phone is burning battery too quickly. (I don't know what specific numbers they're looking for, though)

Usage: 17 Minutes
Standby: 9 Hours, 7 Minutes

It looks abnormal but no worries yet. Use the phone normally until it gets to like 2% and see if there's any difference in battery performance.

My phone % dropped rapidly one time and it hung on 17% for a while.
