have anyone tried a 10000 rpm hard drive on a mac?

i found the
Seagate Savvio 10K.3 ST9300603SS 300GB 10000 RPM 2.5" SAS 6Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive have a good price compared to ssd wich i bet are alot faster .
 
Works on the Mac Pro, but that's it; these are 15mm drives and therefore cannot fit into current Mac notebooks.
