I have just installed Western Digital 1TB internal hard drive on my MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Mid 2009 version. It fits very nicely. But I am having trouble w/ the speed. While installing Mac OS X it freezes in the middle of the process. I have tried several times and couldn't succeed.

So, I tried restoring directly from Time Machine which worked fine. However, I find it is very slow. As "Spinning Rainbow" appears almost all the time whenever I open something. Even for finder or any small application.

Any suggestion or advice to solve this problem would be highly appreciated. I know there are many people using 1TB hard drive in their MBP recently.

Thanks,
djnp
