Is it possible to access Ping on the iPad? Will it be possible through iTunes?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A306 Safari/6531.22.7)

Probably not until 4.2.

For a company pushing mobile devices it is ridiculous not to offer a new social network on one of their primary products.

Ping has a lot of maturing to do, so I for one am happy to wait. Having said that, I'm surprised it hasn't launched on iPad too.

Seeing as it is on the iPhone, I am really surprised it hasn't made it to the iPad yet...4.2 !

No, but there are other social networks apps that are not tied to purchasing music yet are used for that at the same time. I don't see Ping as having legs.

I don't find Ping useful if I can't even access it from my iPad.

It is bizarre that it's not on the iPad. Then again I'm not really using it.

I'd use it if there was a single artist on my playlists that was signed up for Ping. I guess it's not really cool for death and metal core bands to sign up for Ping... not yet anyway. :D

I have just backed up and synced my ipad after updating itunes to 10.1.54 and ping now appears in the itunes app

On both the iPhone and iPad, there needs to be a button in the iPod controls to 'like' whatever song is playing, to Ping.
