I saw a 100GB 5400RPM 8MB buffer Seagate (at least I thought it was a Seagate) at Fry's on Friday for $199. It seemed like a pretty good deal considering the crappy 30Gb models were $120. I thought about getting it, but ram seemed much more important at the time and I didn't want to void my applecare warranty. I'm sure it would have fit in your 17 incher ;) most all lappy hdds do. What are you upgrading from?

Your warranty will not be voided if an Apple certified technician installs the hard drive upgrade. I don't know how much the installation would run you though.
