A Modified iPad Dock Fits iPhone 4 With Bumper, Pics & Movie Inside.

Hi Guys, i just got 2x Non Original iPad docks on eBay for $10 shipping include, i was able to modified it in order to fit my iPhone with the bumper.
As you can see it looks and feels very nice, i hope some1 will come up with a product that fits right out of the box without the need to modify it.

3 easy steps to modify it..

1.Disassemble the unit by removing the soft back side which let us take a flat screwdriver to lift and remove the bottom plastic part.

2. remove the 30 pin connector unit and trim the 3mm plastic that the connector sits on.

3. get a good 3 sec adhesive and apply on the 30 pin connector bracket, hold it until it firms. i also used a glue gun in order to fill the unit from the
inside so the connector wont get wobbly.

That's it!

looks like just a normal ipad dock.

this made me think, im gonna swap my iphone dock for ipad dock.

Thanks. Where did you get these docks from by the way? Did it came with any additional cable? I believe in non original docks being just as fun as the real deal, but most cheap cables tend to break very easy.

in the box is just the dock itself with no cable.
