I like the navigation bars/safari. You should do a separate metal theme that just changes those.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 4 (32GB, JB): Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A306 Safari/6531.22.7)

How did you theme the UIPopupAlertSheet@2x or whatever it's called? It's in a .artwork file so you can't just replace it, and it doesn't work with WinterBoard ...

I know it goes in UIImages, but it doesn't actually work. Which is why I was wondering how you got the @2x version to actually theme ...

I like it! :) You should make a black UI theme as well! I'm tired of the blue and gray.

The more I think about it, the more I want those metal navigation bars/safari/etc. Can you hook a brotha up?

Looking more closely at your screenshot, it looks like you're not using the @2x (Retina) image for the popup, after all. That explains it ...

Thanks to some feedback, i took into consideration to include multiple App Icon masks

The square one is the default
The image below is the second option that will be present in the full release
Please leave feedback :D

I like it!!

But could you create a couple different bubble color otions to help offset the tones to make the texts more outstanding? (i mean like more conspicuous)...

Jus curious if you can incorporate some sort of option like this!

Yea i can, but im already reaching too much for optional customization
I will probably add that as an Add-on [free of course] after i release the theme
Heres the finished result thus far

Just like an option to keep the original colors? Do they look good?

Or maybe a prurple, green, or brighter colors?

Ill upload some real quick!

Here are some SMS Colors in a zip file!

Yea, the idea i have is that the add-on will have all the colors [w/ the iPhone 4 resolution] and the originals

I am pretty sure these are Retina quality.......

What do you mean all the colors?

Do you mean like a spectrum of colors and you can select any color on the spectrum?

If you can do that i would be seriously impressed! That takes some serious coding to know how to incorporate it into the iOS!

If you want a beta tester i would gladly pay a couple bucks to test it for you!

Of course i wouldnt post it anywhere! I have made a few things myself and thats jus a really douche move.

Dont worry! I understand if you dont want to do that!

But so are you talking many settings in WinterBoard for the different SMS color schemes or how are you going to do it?

No, not that advance, i mean like a list of color options on Winterboard. Probably a line of basic colors [red, green, blue, etc]
Then maybe onto more "different" colors [neon, or what not]
Its not that hard really but hopefully people dont mind a long list of pacled themes for just one whole theme

As for beta testing, im already gonna submit the theme around Mid-October.
in 9 days atleast, If the Design class in my high school can let me upload the theme than maybe it can come sooner

Yea i can wait 9 days:]

Dude i really love your theme! And i am even more impressed your in High School! I was in High School when i made my first iPhone App!

Well i guess i technically still am in High School.... I am taking college classes at the local State College and getting the very last of my High School credits there!

Keep up the good work man! I have never even thought about themeing my iPhone 4 till i saw this theme!

Ditto. As far as I know there is NO way to change icons in .artwork files unless you had the ability to repackage them. Winterboard doesn't properly display retina icons.

To the OP, take a closer took at your status bar battery and such on your actual phone. Compare that purple battery, then test go back to the green one which will probably look much more clear.

Because of 4.1 The Backgrounds of the Folders and Switcher images are not theme-able as of now

The SMS chatkit has been fixed so everything should be smooth for 4.0 users
and 4.1 user would only have to deal with the default Folder and Switcher background
