Does anyone know when Tiger is coming out and also when the g5 ibooks will be released? I'm not sure if i should buy a new ibook now, or just wait until the g5's come out.

For the love of GOD, read around the forums, or even (shock horror!) search before posting!

...and calm...

Tiger will be out probably around mid-05, but no one knows when for sure. No one has any clue when G5 PowerBooks will be released, don't even think about G5 iBooks for a long time yet.

I wouldn't expect a lot of help in the future with that attitude. There is plenty of information if you look for it, even just a little.

There wasnt any attitude being applied...it was just a question and you answered it. Thanks for ur help

I always thought "I don't have to do this because someone else will do it for me." was an attitude.

If this is your first thread, it's on the way to Wasteland. :D

Hmmmm hence i'm a newbie, i posted a threat and u replied to it in less than 30 seconds. It seemed like asking a question for help was much easier then searching through every forum. Thanks darling. :p

You should wait. The iBooks now are nice and all, but you obviously have a computer, as you are posting on these forums, so you don't NEED one... eventually G5's will make it into the iBooks. And then you will probably want to wait, as they will get faster and cheaper in the next revision.

So you ya, you'll wanna wait. Oh, and when Tiger comes out you'll probably want to just skip a generation and what for 10.5 to be released, cuz I mean why get something that's gonna be out of date eventually?

Ya. Woo.

Look mate, I don't mind helping (as I have done with you). But as I'd hope you can see this kinda question is one that comes up all the time. If you can't even be bothered to take the time to have a quick look round why should anyone else take the time out to help you huh?

"Thanks darling." Taking the piss won't get you far either

Thanks Mr. Green, I think I might just wait,
A wait for a G5 iBook might be a couple of years. The wait for Tiger is up to about 6 months.

I would suggest you either buy after the next iBook upgrades (G4 still) are announced or at most wait until Tiger is released and then buy.

Of course you could just moan and wait for a G5 iBook. And moan some more over the long wait for it.

But the G4 is SO yesterday! The G5 is the latest hotness! Must have it! I was being sarcastic, and that was my smarmy way of saying if you need a computer to get it, otherwise wait =p
