After quite a bit of searching I came across a utility that can be used to overclock nVidia GPUs in OSX natively!

It seems NVClock has been ported however it is command line only atm and I cannot make head nor tails of it. Someone here might have better luck, people posting on the forum below have had success.

See http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1246

Can anyone get this to work?

first off, no bumping.
second, i'm waiting to hear from someone else before trying. - I wouldn't mind clocking mine at 600-650

I would try it if someone explained how to do it, I'm not the greatest at command line operations...

I got it to load my gfx and everything, just not reporting the right clock, everything else is right

with 330m active

I have already made GUI out of this

it's in my signature, Zeus thread

gonna add macbook support soon

Thanks I managed to get it working myself but I have the same clock speed problem you do.

Any ideas?

a list of what cards are supported would be great.

FWIW, I'm not a fan of overclocking. Besides causing excess heat, it also tends to shorten the life of not only the CPU, but the mobo also.

really? my cpu stays at 85-90, but my gpu is at 60-65, pleanty of room for some overclocking, I was thinking of just taking it back up to stock frequency, 650MHz, instead of the 605MHz apple underclocked it to. should be just fine. I might take it a little higher if it doesn't run too hot, some guys have been getting a 30% FPS increase, just overclocking it by 43MHz - so to 693MHz

don't really care about battery life, when i'm out and about i'm always using the intel HD anyway, even plays wow at 10-15 FPS
If I get the OC working, i'm going to reapply the thermal paste too.

Zeus recognizes my card fine (GT 130/G94, iMac) and reports its clocks etc but when I try to OC it, it goes back to normal clock if I click the clock speeds button. Any idea on that? I just tried it for testing purposes, I don't really game so OCing ain't that important for me
