AndroiHD Lockscreen & Homescreen
By Andy9l (excluding the stunning weather icons)

Update: New 'Widget Only Version' available for both Homescreen and Lockscreen! Use your own wallpapers/sliders with my clock/weather widget!

Fixed: Midnight hour now displayed as 12 instead of 00 when using non 24 hour mode. Thanks to h1r0ll3r for spotting.

Download & Install Guide
Read the guide carefully and follow all instructions.

Description:
An HTC style lockscreen/homescreen which displays the time and weather in the location of your choice on the appropriate screen. These themes have only been tested on iOS 4.1, on an iPhone 4. Follow the install guide on my website very closely to avoid lack of slider detail etc..

NOTE: I did NOT make the weather icons. The rest is all made by myself and all I ask is that you respect that. That's all, enjoy!

AndroiHD Homescreen requires Summerboard mode to be enabled in WinterBoard - thanks to lgreenberg for finding this.

Donations hugely appreciated:
I have been suggested to add this by friends and members of this forum.

I got the lockscreen to work but not the home.

Weather Widget shows fine on homescreen but the dock doesn't.

Still seeing the default dock with the dock from the Android wallpaper behind it.

Thoughts?

Just done a fresh install of both themes on my iPhone 4 and had no dock troubles. Check that Dock.png exists in the root of the AndroiHD Homescreen.theme folder. If so, try re-springing and rebooting.

AndroiHD Homescreen with Suave HD Icons link not working

It was just a screenshot, but thanks for the heads up - fixed :)

Right, you need to JB your iPhone, using GreenPois0n or Limera1n, and search Cydia for 'OpenSSH'. Now download an FTP client like WinSCP or Cyberduck (for Mac). Connect to your iPhone (locally, i.e. 192.168.0.XXX) via SFTP (SSH). Navigate your way to the folder I mentioned above and upload your themes! :)

Okay, I can't get the weather to work at all. I entered the zip code for my city and it won't fetch.

You need a Yahoo! Weather WOEID, see below...

It requires Yahoo Weather's WOEID. I used my location's WOEID and it works like a charm

Great to hear a success story!

I must be the only person who simply can NOT find this. Where is this located?

Go to http://weather.yahoo.com/ and enter your city in the search. Select your city from the results and get the WOEID from the URL. Example follows:

http://weather.yahoo.com/england/greater-london/london-44418/

Still no joy.

See image - ignore the icons over the weather widget but look at the dock.

I reinstalled, resprung and rebooted. Dock is still not right.

Also where are the Suave icons supposed to be? You said you fixed it but they are not inside the Homescreen theme at all.

Confused.

I have not bundled the Suave theme in with my own since I haven't got permission to. I don't intend on bundling them - it was just a screenshot example of a theme suggestion. We all know where to get Suave HD from ;)

Try putting AndroiHD Homescreen at the top of your WinterBoard active themes list.

Okay - i figured it out.

In case anyone else has the same dock issue.

Turn summerboard mode to on in winterboard.

lgreenberd that is exactly how I want my homescreen to look like!

I have a few questions tho. Is it possible to just have that "HTC Clock widget with the weather" and change the wallpaper, but keep everything like how you have it in the screenshot?

Basically the screen shot of your phone is basically how I want mines to be... BUT just to have a different wallpaper. Is this possible? Is there any widgets that have the "HTC Clock/weather" that works with the iphone 4 and doesn't require ssh?

Thanks!

Yeah, i guess I bought an iPhone for an iphone(+jb). I love the widget but the other stuff is just necessary IMO. thanks for contributing though!

Well I don't like to see anyone unsatisfied so please read on...

You're the second person who's asked for a 'Widget only' version of this so I've made it.

Download link available in the first post, scroll to the bottom of that page and select widget only version of lockscreen/homescreen! Edit via same instructions and use your own backgrounds/sliders (requires re-spring to be updated).
