so i have had my iphone 4 since launch and my camera has been beautiful accept today i noticed i have that green tint in the center of the picture like others have had. i used my camera yesterday and it was fine. what is the issue and is there a fix?

They all have green spots. Get over it. Stop trying to find defects in your phone and just ****ing enjoy it!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

So he should just ignore a defect on a $800 device? You people are unbelievable.

OP, if it bothers you so much, I would just go to apple and try to exchange the phone. See if a new one does the same or not.

Slight green blob when taking pics under fluorescent light is (for better or worse) normal. It has something to do with the iP4's camera + funky white balance.

Green blob w/o fluorescent lighting? Not normal.

take it to any Apple store and they'll replace it for free.

I just bought an iPhone4 too, and yes, this issue is present when taking photos inside my house, where almost everywhere is using fluorescent lightings.

Being an iPhone developer, I created an app to solve this problem. If you want a promocode, give me a shout at my email with your macrumours' id.

The app is on introductory sale right now at 99cent anyways.
