Downloaded apps sitting as waiting

Hi

I'm sorry if this is a frequently asked question but I am so annoyed with this problem I thought I would post it anyway

I have just downloaded 3 free apps on my iphone but they are sitting at waiting and I have no idea what to do.

I have tried downloading them again through itunes but they are still sitting waiting on my phone.

I believe this is a iOS4.1 bug but it is unbelievably annoying

Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this please?

I had the same problem with this what I did was tap the one of the waiting apps every 5 seconds until it came up with enter iTunes password entered my password and then they downloaded.

Not a sure fire fix but worked for me

A reset should work. You may have to update the app again from the App Store.

Just turn it off and on again.
