First, thanks to maya for posting a link to a discussion forum where someone had taken a screenshot of the System Profiler running on a Mac mini from the MWSF floor.

The System Profiler shows that the 80GB hard drive in the Mac mini is a Toshiba MK8025GAS, which is a 2.5" ATA/100 4200rpm laptop hard drive. Specs include an 8MB buffer and a 12ms average seek time. A bit of a disappointment to those expecting a 5400rpm hard drive, but probably not all that surprising considering the margins Apple likes to collect, even on low-end products.
