I have an iPhone, mac, iPod, etc.

I am thinking of getting an iPad.

Why iPad over a Tab or playbook?

Because you can keep iTunes as your media hub for all your other iDevices?

And Steve will love you long time if you stay in the fold.

Haha, what do you mean media hub? I synce my ipod/iPhone right into my mac at the moment.

From my understanding, iPad has it's own itunes on it?

It does have an iTunes app. But so does an iPhone.

An iPad is basically a big iPhone minus the phone. It behaves exactly the same as an iPhone in terms of how you sync it with your computer.

Because at the time the iPad was released, the selection of other tablets sucked. Oh, that's right, there were no other tablets worth mentioning

Because playbook is not available and iPad is available.

Your question is like why choose xbox 360 over PS3 and wii?

Answer is simple, it is a personal preference. What sells game consoles? Games.

What sells tablets? Apps.

Buy tab if you want a device that is an oversized phone. Buy playbook if you want to wait for a nonexistent product.

Because It's Magic...

Nah, It's actually a very enjoyable device if you're into the iOS world, a Big iPhone is pretty nice for a lot of stuff
