anyone know when apple will release the new macbook pros? in 1 years time maybe? I'm probably going to wait it off until they put a better video card than the GeForce GT 330M with 512MB under the hood.

EDIT: i meant macbook pros

You'll be waiting for quite a while. Apple does not put high end video cards in their laptops for the sake of heat and battery life, if you're looking for a good GPU in a laptop, look elsewhere.

uhh..the new one just came out like in august. you can wait about 1.5-2 years for next upgrade. OR aonther 3-4 years for EVEN better upgrades.

i think he meant macbook pro ;)

Thread number 12481526357826457824823 of the exact same thing. Any ones guess. February-June is my guess.

I am too waiting for a gpu better then the 330m. I am not expecting anything miraculous, just better. As long as it can play tf2 on high settings ill be happy  High settings without dieing in the middle of a battle that is :p

well, there's the new 22 nanometer semi conductors coming out in 2011. They run cooler and faster than the current 32 nanometer i7 cpus.

Mac Pros have 5770 or 5870. MacBook Pro has GT 330M

SO many threads on this topic. No one knows. The best guess is Q1 / Spring 2011.
