OK. Confess. Who's tempted? We won't tell anyone else.

This Steve Jobs action figure is just awesome. It’s pretty interesting to see that it has a tiny body and a big head. When I take an in-depth look on the figure, seriously, the level of detail in this thing is simply amazing. Looking at his face, beard, jeans and sneakers makes me feel that it is a tiny size of Steve Jobs standing on my desk. It’s a little bit creepy, but it still looks cool. I just can’t wait to invite my friends to my house to take a look at this.

Sounds excellent! Best bit? He comes with speech bubbles:

First, you get three speech bubble cards which are bundled with the figure. Next, get a marker (not included) and write anything on the card, including the all-time favorite quotes from Steve Jobs. You know, the one more thing.

But the bad news? Oh noes. Totally sold out... but wait, is that a second batch on order? Why, yes it is!

I didn't read hour post but grabbed the credit card to buy for my friend iGary. Too bad I can't get one for him yet. :( I'm not interested but I think he'd be. :D

I like the base, but the figure is a little creepy.

But I must admit, bobblehead looking figures always creeped me out with their oversized heads.

That's pretty cool.

But I wouldn't want my Beanie Baby Attack Squad getting jealous.

Have Fun,
Keri

PS. It's ASHBURY, ISIS and HEATHER HOODIE

Very lame, but you're in Japan, so buying things like that is OK. People expect that from the Japanese.
Except....I'm not Japanese. Oh well, I don't think it's any lamer than an avatar of a dog wearing glasses. Original.

Oh my word,

Are you going to dress him up and have him fight with your Bill Gates doll?

Men playing with dolls - its kind of odd

What, no comments yet on how the head is accurately inflated?

It's not a doll...it's an action figure (nervously giggles and looks around to see if anyone is looking).

lol well I wouldn't be "playing" with it. In fact, that idea never crossed my mind until YOU wrote it. I guess some of us are insecure. The action figure would just be sitting on my desk with other computer related objects.

What's troubling are your stats since only last year.

You should get out more.

I'd say so, you trying to justify a Steve Jobs doll and bringing up my post count.

btw, I get out quite often and have a very vibrant and fulfilling life outside of my computer. Post count does not indicate value of life.

You want to play with dolls, sure that's your right but it seems when I called it a doll (which it is) you got insulted. Hey what ever, I suppose you'd be better served taking your own advice. Instead of playing with dolls or worshipping Steve Jobs why not get outside. ;)

Truthfully a SJ action figure has got to be one of the dorkiest things you can buy...lol

Why not use post count? Off limits? Information is for the taking. Not insulted, just get irritated reading ignorant comments. No time for introverted loners. With close to 10,000 posts in a matter of months, I'd say you're the sheep.

Isn't it? That's the point. It's over the top dorky. No doubt about it. That's why I'm considering getting it ;)

This thread is entirely too ironic for words, but I have some all the same. Here you have some guy (the OP) announcing that he's buying a product by starting his own thread when a completely current and relevant thread already exists on the same page within the Community sub-forum. Somehow the OP is more adjusted and less sheepish because he feels the need to start a thread about his purchase. What is this purchase? An over-priced action figure of a man who people, including the OP, seem to idolize far too much and consider some sort of mecca.

Pro tip: Don't bash the quality of someone's life based on post count when you're the starter of a thread that discusses the purchase of an $80 action figure signifying your delusional infatuation with the CEO of a company.

OP, I implore you to, rather, I anticipate that you will return and discuss the correlation of my post count to the quality of my life.

On a side note, it is a very well done doll, one I'd like to buy for a friend as said in the thread that was started the day before this one.

Why not use post count? Off limits?

Not at all, just do the math before bashing me.

an average of 12.34 posts a day doesn't mean that I'm spending all my time here and I don't get out  12 posts a day is nothing, and I enjoy my time here. I also enjoy time outside, hiking, camping, playing with my children and spending time with my wife. I usually don't need to justify my time here but given that you were unable to see the forest through the trees, i.e., doing the math, it was appropriate.

And if you actually see my posts, I'm anything but a sheep here, but I think you needed to find some way to lash out at me, because I made the doll comment.

While my comment was a bit inflammatory, and I do apologize if it insulted you. I'll rephrase my comment as this: Buying a figurine of a CEO of a multibillion dollar company is odd and many people will think its at the height of fanboyism.
