Also, Am wondering about optional warranty programs. As detailed pricing below:

AppleCare = $174
SquareTrade = $299 ( With accidential included )

I know alot about AppleCare but never had any experience with SquareTrade at all. I have read reviews about them but really wondering if it is truly worth it, and how exactly the accidential does work; from what I take, they will refund purchase price is not repairable. If it has had prior repairs, that amount would be deducted if unit was trashed....

Anyone, have any direct input.....

Thanks,
Again

If you have State Farm I'd try them.

They have a personal articles policy that for mine was about 30 dollars for the year and protects you against dropping/theft/loss/pretty much anything not warranty related.

It was really sweet when State Farm would cover the iphone (they did actually charge more for that) but apparently too many people abused that so they stopped covering cellphones (glares at everyone who "accidentally" dropped their phone right before their upgrade was up and pretty much ruined a great insurance plan for all the honest people).
