Windows 7 installation without CD

I currently have a MacBook Pro and I am trying to put Windows OS on it using the Boot Camp option. I can download Windows 7 using my university's website, but all instructions for installing Windows using Boot Camp require using a CD. Is it possible to do it with it downloaded on the desktop, or do I need to put it on a CD/DVD somehow and then use that? I'm not sure if I can put it on a CD (with the stipulations of the University share program). Any advise would be helpful!

You have three options.

1. If the University delivers Windows as an ISO, use Disk Utility or Burn OS X to burn that to a DVD, and simply install from that
2. If the University delivers Windows as an EXE/BOX set of files, download the official ISO direct from Microsoft, burn that to DVD, and use the product key your Uni provides to activate your install. http://techpp.com/2009/11/11/download-windows-7-iso-official-direct-download-links/
