**Do you leave your power adapter connected to the outlet??

Just want to make sure.
Because one of my adapter for the shaver is dead just by leaving it connected to the power outlet for 2 weeks.
I wonder what you guys do with your MagSafe Power Adapter.

Yes, although this wastes electricity, it's convenient for me just to come back and let the MagSafe attach and be done.

Btw, I do this with most if not all my electronics and haven't experienced Andy issues

It is almost always plugged in to my MBP
But when it isn't, I would leave it plugged in to the wall

I always unplug adapters when not in use.

If I had a second power supply it would stay plugged in.

If your shaver adapter died just because it was plugged in for two weeks, it was defective; go get it exchanged for a new one. 🙂

Leaving power adapters plugged in won't hurt them. They use a very tiny amount of power, but these days with modern switch-mode power adapters, it's such a tiny load it's not worth thinking about. (in the thousandths of a watt)

Mine has been connected to an outlet 90% of the time if not more. I leave it at my desk plugged in so I can just pop the magsafe on when i'm working at my desk or i need to charge.

this is the second post in a few days about proper AC adapter etiquette.

My charger has been plugged in to the same outlet 24/7 for like the last 8 months, except for the couple times I took it with me out of the house. No harm done yet.

i think it is a good habit. but since not everyone is doing it, at least we know that nothing goes wrong probably.
