Hey,
when i play 1080p quicktime HD it seems to drop frames, I am looking to upgrade the mac possibly depending if the problem can be pinpointed to hardware... I currently run.
-Dual 2.0ghz G5
-4gb Ram
-Ati Radeon 9600 XT (128mb)
-Apple cinema 23 inch
Judging by the quicktime req's i think it could be the graphics card, do i need a 256mb one to be above the recommended specs, or is it processor power.
I was thinking of updating the card anways as i want dual DVI out not 1xDVI and 1xADC..
Im getting into final cut pro, editing DV, so any upgrade advice is welcomed....
