Anyone get 1080p iTunes purchased content on their new iPad?
Here is what I've tried:
First I used iTunes on my Mac with manually manage videos turned on to sync an TV episode that has a 1080p version. It synced down the 720p version. I could tell this by the size of the video that ended up on the device.
Second I tried downloading using the iTunes App on the iPad to re-download the TV show from iTunes. It still downloads the 720p version even though it shows 1080p under the TV show. Once again the size of the video gives this away.
Third I tried deleting the 720p and SD versions of the TV episode in finder and then attempted to drop the 1080p version of the TV show and iTunes does not allow dropping it on the connected iPad to sync.
