1080p with 5.1 Audio in iMovie (iLife '11)?

Does anyone know if this is possible? I can't seem to even find a way to show what audio has been imported in iMovie. I just got a 5.1 mic for my Canon HFS200 and I'd like to be able to take advantage of it. Thanks.

my videos are being imported as 2 channel stereo only, bit annoyed - would like to know of 5.1 is possible in imovie 11?
