Whats the easiest was to get rid of the Greenpoison animated startup screen. Is the an app to do it...I want to avoid directly editing/moving files on the phone.

Don't you just love useless replies?

Install openssh on your phone or use filebrowser or similar and go to /usr/bin rename the animate file to animateZ for example, or delete the file all together.

The skull graphic is gone.

You do realize that post #2 is what the OP is actually looking for, right? It's a solution without editing system files yourself, nothing useless about it.

greenpoint? Anyway, search for boot logo in cydia. Download it. Then settings>boog logo>built in - Apple. Select and reboot.

How do I find this? When I search for "Boot Logo" in Cydia, the only result I get is "Boot Logo Lockscreen" which is not what I want. Thanks.

I missed that haha. On a side note i'm cool with that GP logo until the "loading" icon overlays it and sticks there...that totally ruins it.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

Look for "windows shattering" in Cydia. In the info it should say something like "greenpois0n bootlogo required" which is a link to BootLogo. Click it then uninstall BootLogo

#2 was the easiest response. Lol @ #3 for being so quick to flame...like most people on this site. For future reference:

1) Login via SSH or iFile the route usr / bin / and delete the file “animate“
2) From Cydia repository added: repo.insanelyi.com then install “Remove Greenpois0n Bootlogo”
