In the past I noticed my ethernet interface would seem to stop functioning in windows after a certain amount of time. I had just switched to wireless for windows and forgotten about it, but recently acquired a qnap box and had planned on using the 10g interface to mount a few SSD's for extra storage under windows.

Under OSX the interface seems fine - I transferred multiple terrabytes over the past few days. But under windows the interface seems to stop after a small number of hours and show "no connection", where even unplugging the ethermet cable doesn't help.

Due to other issues, I even had to completely reinstall windows 10 from scratch, and the new install behaves the exact same way. So seems like maybe a driver issue..?

Any advice on things to try to resolve?

Thanks!
