Hi all. Hope someone has encountered this network-related issue before and could perhaps provide some insight.
I just installed my Startech 10Gbe NIC on my Mac Pro 5.1 (flashed) running OSX Yosemite 10.10.5. The card uses the Tehuti TN4010 chipset with drivers that support OSX from Yosemite all the way to Sierra.
Initial installation had an issue which resulted in the card going offline and not connecting to my switch even though OSX detected it. I switched to Windows7 bootcamp and the card was detected and ran flawlessly. I used the same cable and switch, and the card was left in the same PCI-E slot (Slot 4).
So it seems this is something OS-related. Any thoughts? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
