Did you find an answer to this one? Somebody in another thread implied that a 10Gbps NIC uses it's own 4x PCI lanes rather than run through the shared 4x in DMI, and does not share lanes with the two TB3 controllers. If that's true, that would imply that there's an unused mini-PCI solder slot on non-10Gbps configs.I certainly do, thanks!
