Do both have same bandwidth available for TB3 ports, or is the 10GbE model hindered because it uses a lane for the ethernet?

Did you find an answer to this one? Somebody in another thread implied that a 10Gbps NIC uses it's own 4x PCI lanes rather than run through the shared 4x in DMI, and does not share lanes with the two TB3 controllers. If that's true, that would imply that there's an unused mini-PCI solder slot on non-10Gbps configs.

iirc in another thread they said it goes through PCH.
Dont know where the Gigabit port goes through, it would be logical that it's the same slot just a crappier chip.
