just told to a business specialist in the apple store, she told me smart keyboard and pencil will be widely available on 11/20 every where. People should start seeing massive inventory arrive in the store. Based on the all the online retails store estimate delivery date, 11/20 seems like a pretty accurate date to go and check them in the apple store. I think I will and start my hunting on 11/20, it's too frustrate to show up at the apple store every morning and the answer is always "no, we don't have one available".

Be interesting to see if shipping dates on current orders get bumped up around then. Not much we can do but wait and see if this bears out or not.
I believe it. Apple won't miss out on the biggest shopping day in the US - Black Friday. Inventory will catch up in time for the holiday next week.
I'm not sure I believe one person knowing what has not been reported or leaked anywhere else... BUT that would be the only way Apple would make up for this debacle for me, is if the stores got large shipments in at the same time... Not really seeing it though.
It's starting already at some stores. My local Apple store got a large shipment of Pencils today in their freight delivery. I'd expect that you could walk in and buy one most places by the end of the week, early next week at the latest. For the first couple days they'll disappear quickly because a lot of us have been waiting.
My local BB store gets shipments on Wednesdays. I already got the keyboard from Apple and betting I will have the pencil by the end of this week.
I think I'll take a shot at cellular stores, they are so close and much more accessible to me than Apple locations. Worth a shot, it isn't like I'm going way far out of my way.
